Graduation Information

GRADUATION INFORMATION

It is a great pleasure to announce that the Graduation Ceremony of STA will take place at the RBC Place London, Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

 

Students who have fulfilled the following requirements for their Ontario Secondary School Diploma are invited and encouraged to participate in this most important event:

 a) Successful completion of 30 credits (includes 18 Compulsory Credits)

 b) 40 hours of community service

 c) e-Learning courses (2 courses or Opt-out form)

 

Guidance has provided many opportunities with students to review graduation requirements however we strongly encourage all students to verify their graduation requirements by making an appointment with their guidance counsellor as soon as possible.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

Grad Fee and Gown Sizing: $111.00* Must be paid through School Cash On-Line by March 1, 2024

Fees help to partially cover the cost for: purchase of your gown and cap with tassel and graduation year pendant, sitting fee for grad photos, printing of programs, diploma folders, school cross/memento, facility rental, AV costs, Grad Day (*admin fee $1.00 for online payment).  After March 1, 2024 the fee is $121.00* and must be paid no later than Friday, March 29, 2024.

 

Grad Photos: Tuesday, February 20 – Wednesday, February 28

                        Retakes date TBA

                        Sign up online www.bookmygrad.ca and enter School Code STQ

                        Limited number of in school times are available. 

                       

Diploma must be student's legal names and will be exactly as on file.  Please check the Grad List posted outside of the Guidance Office to confirm the correct spelling no later than Thursday, April 4, 2024

 

40 Hours Volunteer Service: Complete your Community Involvement Activities form and hand in by May 1, 2024 

 

Valedictorian Nomination: May

 

Grad Gown Distribution: Wednesday, June 19, 2024 after Grad Day lunch.

 

Keepsake Invitation: Distributed Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Each student will have the opportunity to invite up to four (4) guests.  Additional spaces may be available by the middle of June, as numbers are confirmed.  We will have on online fillable form available at a later date where you can request a maximum of two (2) additional invitations.  We will do our best to accommodate requests; on a first come first serve basis.  We are obligated to follow fire code regulations set by the RBC Place London.
