Hey Flames:  Happy Friday.  Healthy Schools Committee wants to remind you that when you are recording that Tik Tok or any other video; to be aware of any background information that you are revealing in the video and then posting.  For example, in the class, there may be stuff on the walls or whiteboards. Some of this might contain sensitive info, from logins and passwords to sites or names. Make sure to keep them out of any media you record.

STA's Prism Club will be hosting a talent showcase in June! If you have a talent, stay tuned for more details coming soon! Anyone will be welcome to audition but your acts must somehow express the themes of inclusivity and joy, so start brainstorming! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Congratulations to the STA Track & Field team for another fantastic meet at the Titan/Bronco Invitational yesterday at UWO.  New school records came from Sofia Morgan at her first time in Triple Jump, Brett Beazley in the 200m and Nic Vandeloo in Triple jump. Nic then went on to place 3rd in Sprint Hurdles. Mr. Mac is doing something right because we had top placings in triple jump by Abby Blais, Tuni Oldeinde, Seamus Dowler, Mason Bothwell and Ella Otterbein. Our throwers looked strong with Liam Biesinger and Noah Mitoraj winning their events, and Colton Stanley, Maki Tomicevic and Morgan Gleason placing in their throws. Abbey Jean, Kaitlyn Nadeau and Olivia Jackson placed in the 800 and Sacha Larsen and Brooke Forrett in sprint hurdles. Then birthday girl Fiona Kalaiwo was 2nd in novice 200, closely followed by Addy Brosnan. Elliott Nash came 2nd with a season best in the junior 200. Charlotte Bothwell and Jacob Jansen also had strong placings in the 1500m.

Our junior girls 4X1 relay smashed the meet record with Numa Looginah, Sofia Morgan, Olivia Jackson and Elliott Nash. Novice boys 4x1 came a very close 2nd with Nathan Halls, Seamus, Maki and Tunji. And finally, our novice girls relay look like they are going to have a very promising season with a spectacular run by Brooke Hamilton, Addy Brosnan, Brooke Forrett and Fiona Kalaiwo. Athletes are reminded to check the VLE for important information about bussing for next week's UWO practice and Woodstock meet. Roll Flames!
