Learning Services
In the Learning Services Department, our team of experienced and dedicated teachers and educational assistants, provide academic support to students that have a learning disability and that have an Individual Education Plan. We help to provide and support accommodations and learning strategies, for students, to help them succeed in their courses.
In the Learning Services room, we provide a safe, friendly work area for students to feel comfortable writing tests, doing schoolwork or using computers. Our staff provides one on one assistance with students, whether its learning how to use Google Read and Write or their course work. We work closely with our teachers to help ensure each student’s unique learning styles and abilities are recognized and supported in the classroom. The Learning Services staff looks forward to meeting and working with our new grade nine students in 2023!
