Open to students in grades 9-10, the Hockey Canada Skills Academy will help student athletes improve and enrich their individual hockey skills, while developing their personal fitness. Dear grade 8 parents of future hockey STA Academy students.  Due to covid protocol and regulations, we will not be collecting any money or registration forms at the moment.  If your son or daughter is registered and has chosen PAL 10 (Hockey academy course), that is all we are asking for currently.  Mid-August you will receive an email requesting both payment and registration forms.  We look forward to meeting and working with all our future Flames.

The fee for the program is $350. A $100 deposit is required at the time of registration, remaining $250 is due before the first ice session. The deposit is non-refundable without a medical note.

Included in that fee will be:
  • 40-50 on ice sessions with a Teacher and/or a Skills Instructor
  • Your own Hockey Canada Skills Academy Jersey
  • One way transportation from the rink to the school daily
Students are required to provide their own transportation to the arena each day before school when we are having on ice sessions.
The number of sections running will be determined by total enrollment in the course.
