Parking passes are valid for one semester at a time and using an old parking pass is considered a parking violation. There are a limited number of passes available and passes will be distributed only to Gr 12 and coop students who live in the STA boundary area on a first come/need basis. Please read carefully the parking process regulations below regarding student parking at STA. Remember that access to parking is a privilege and students who do not abide by this agreement will have their parking privileges revoked.
Application deadlines:
Semester 1 = Friday, September 5, 2025. Return for refund no later than Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Semester 2 = Friday, February 6, 2025/ Return for refund no later than Thursday, June 25, 2026.
PROCESS
STA has a limited number of parking spaces available only for Gr 12 and coop, student use. STA accepts NO LIABILITY where student parking is concerned. Access to parking is a privilege offered by the school to responsible students. Any theft, damage to vehicles, maintenance of the lot, accidents, etc., is NOT the responsibility of the school. The schools’ recommendation is that students do NOT use the parking lot if they have alternate means of transportation at their disposal, such as entitlement to school bussing.
· Parking passes will be provided on a first come/need basis. Applications after the deadline will not be considered.
· Complete the Student Parking Application to register your vehicle information (make, model, colour, licence plate number) and explain your reason for needing access to parking at school for that semester (i.e. co-op work placement, medical condition, sports, clubs, responsible for driving younger siblings, etc.). Priority will go to students who do not have access to school bussing.
· Pay the $10.00 student parking fee and abide by the instructions and directions as relayed by Security, the school administration, or any other STA staff member.
Applications may be picked up in the main office beginning Wednesday September 3rd.
