Good morning STA here are your morning announcements!
Attention all Multicultural and Diversity Club Members.
Meetings are still held during all 3 lunches every Wednesday and Friday in the library. Please make sure you attend so that the remaining activities for the year can be the best possible. See you there!
Our Lost and Found table has been set up in the Forum and will remain there until the end of the school year. Students are encouraged to stop by and check for any missing items, including clothing, water bottles, lunch containers, and other personal belongings. Any unclaimed items remaining at the end of the school year will be donated. Please take a few minutes to see if any of the items belong to you!
Due to our increasing student enrollment next year, we will not have enough lockers for every student to have an individual locker. Students who would like to share a locker with a friend are encouraged to sign up using the QR code posted outside the Main Office. Both students must agree to share the locker. Please complete the sign-up as soon as possible to help us with locker assignments for next year.
Off Uniform for Grade 12: Would you like to wear comfy clothes to your exams? Simply donate one gently used uniform item to the Main Office on the morning of your exam. Once your donation has been received, the office staff will stamp your hand, giving you permission to wear non-uniform clothing for your exam that day. Thank you for supporting future students through your uniform donation, and best of luck on your exams!
Now is the perfect time to clean out your locker for the end of the school year! Please remove all personal belongings and garbage from your locker. Once your locker has been completely emptied, leave your lock unlocked on the clasp. Any items left in lockers after final exams will be collected and donated.
Attention Grade 11 Students. If you wish to apply for a parking pass for next school year, please pick up an application form from the Main Office. Please note that parking spaces are limited, and only students with a valid reason for requiring a parking pass will be approved. The application process is no longer first come, first served. Applications will be accepted until September to allow students sufficient time to complete the form and obtain all required signatures.
Any grade 9 students who did not sign the "class of spirit" sign, please stop by the chaplaincy centre at your lunch to see Aaron.
Sr Girls' Basketball, Jr and Sr Badminton team photos will be right after period 1 on Wednesday in the forum. Please make your way down to the forum promptly.
Curious about trades and technology? Hop on board the skills Ontario Trades & Tech Trucks and dive into an awesome hands-on experience. This is a free Community Event on July 21st from 10a.m. to 3p.m at Unifor Local 27. See the flyer posted on the Guidance bulletin board for more information.
Please view the flyer for more details.
As we come to the end of the school year any identified students who are graduating or leaving STA at the end of the year and were given a board device, Chromebook, charger, while you were here at STA that equipment must be returned to one of the Learning Support Teachers. Students can drop off that equipment to room 248 anytime during the exam period or when you no longer need that equipment.
Today is the last day of the school year for you to stop by the Cafeteria.
We would like to thank you for all your business and can't wait to see Most of you back in Sept.
Enjoy your summer!
