Good morning STA here are your morning announcements!
Our Lost and Found table has been set up in the Forum and will remain there until the end of the school year.
Students are encouraged to stop by and check for any missing items, including clothing, water bottles, lunch containers, and other personal belongings. Any unclaimed items remaining at the end of the school year will be donated. Please take a few minutes to see if any of the items belong to you!
Due to our increasing student enrollment next year, we will not have enough lockers for every student to have an individual locker. Students who would like to share a locker with a friend are encouraged to sign up using the QR code posted outside the Main Office. Both students must agree to share the locker. Please complete the sign-up as soon as possible to help us with locker assignments for next year.
Off Uniform for Grade 12: Would you like to wear comfy clothes to your exams? Simply donate one gently used uniform item to the Main Office on the morning of your exam. Once your donation has been received, the office staff will stamp your hand, giving you permission to wear non-uniform clothing for your exam that day. Thank you for supporting future students through your uniform donation, and best of luck on your exams!
If you had artwork in the show, please make sure to pick it up in room 172 no later than the end of this week.
Grade 12s! Make sure to get your friend crew down for the final lap. You can also sign up as an individual and be paired with a team for the events you want. Scan the QR code on posters around the school or use the link on the Leadership or Guidance Instagram. See you on Grad Day!
Female Athlete of the Week is going to recognize the entire varsity girl's soccer team here at STA! Every single individual on this team displayed incredible teamwork, dedication, and resilience to earn the back-to-back title of AAA OFSAA Champions! This is no easy feat and quite an achievement that has not been done before in the province! Congratulations to this amazing group of athletes and their coaching staff!
Male Athlete of the week goes to Noah Mitoraj! Noah has had an incredible 4 years on the STA track and field team. His relentless work ethic, ability to never give up and determination to succeed is what led him to the top of podium not only this season but in all previous seasons. Congratulations Noah on the OFSAA Champion title for discus and best of luck on your next chapter with Penn State!
We have a new club for next year, St Thomas Aquinas Investing. Come by after school to room 119 to learn more.
