Good morning STA here are your morning announcements!
Canadian youth are invited to honour Canada’s Veterans and foster the tradition of Remembrance through visual art, writing, and video. If you are interested in participating in this year's Remembrance Day Poster or Literary Contest, please see Mrs. Johnson in room 172.
Dungeons and Dragons club will be having a meeting this Friday, September 25 for returning and experienced players only. The club will run from 2:15 to 4:00 PM. Please bring a pencil and wait outside the library until you are called in.
Prism Club is STA's gender-sexuality alliance which is intended to create a comfortable space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies and to help make our school a more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone. If you are interested in staying up to date on Prism Club events and initiatives, please sign up for the Prism Newsletter using the QR code on the posters around the school.
Attention grade 12 business and/or communication enthusiasts: there will be an introductory meeting for a potential DECA club on Wednesday, September 23 in portable 5 during period 3 (first lunch). Please see Ms. Tellier or visit deca.ca for any questions about what that's all about.

Orange Shirt Day is happening next Wednesday, September 30th!
Are you looking to buy an orange shirt? Visit the Rezonance website to purchase your shirt and support an Indigenous business. Supporting Indigenous businesses helps strengthen Indigenous communities while celebrating and keeping their culture, traditions, and knowledge alive. You’ll find posters around the school, so scan the QR code or check the school’s social media for the link. Wear your orange shirt on Wednesday, September 30th. Let’s come together as a school community to show our support and remember the importance of Orange Shirt Day!

This is your opportunity to meet with Ontario University reps and get the information you need to make your decision about post-secondary education.
