Merry Christmas

The Scriptural account of Christmas, as we celebrate it today, is found in Luke 2:4-19. This Gospel conveys the story of the baby Jesus’ birth to Mary and Joseph, a couple from Nazareth. Mary had conceived through a miracle after an angel appeared to her telling her she would give birth to the Son of God. Through a sequence of events that led Mary and Joseph out of Nazareth, this baby, Jesus, was born in a manger in a stable.

Christmas is about the birth of God’s Son – Jesus. It is about how he came to give us love, hope and joy. That message remains constant year after year. When there is so much negativity and destruction in the world, this is good news worth celebrating!

We hope that during this Christmas season, you will spend time with loved ones and experience the love, hope and joy that was given to us to share.  On behalf of all of the staff at St. Thomas Aquinas, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2023!
