Wellness Wednesdays: Mental Health and Well-being Tips for All

No Limits

What limits are you putting on yourself? Do you have hopes and dreams you want to accomplish, but are somehow limiting yourself? When we limit what we accept in our lives, we limit our minds and life’s possibilities. Have you ever thought that there is something that you can’t do? A star of the video in today’s Wellness Wednesday, Luca Butweli (sp) reminds us:

‘We are only limited by our minds’

Try this:

As a class, group or family watch the following video about a dance competition that will stretch your perception of barriers and overcoming limits:

ILL-Abilities Crew at SFHHDF 2009 (6:21)

Ask yourself, there is no wrong answer:

Since watching the video, do you think you have ever limited yourself based on what you think you can do? What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Connecting to Our Faith

For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.

- Psalm 139:13-16
