Dear Parents/Guardians

Recently, our Board has made the decision to move secondary schools from the Quadmester model (2 courses-double periods/day) back to our traditional model of semesters (4 courses- 1 period/day). This change will take effect on February 7, 2022. While many students and families are eagerly anticipating this move back to the semester model, we know for others there is apprehension because of the unfamiliarity with this model. Rest assured, we have operated in the semester model for many years before Covid, and very effectively. The transition to a regular semester model, coupled with the continuation of Covid protocols, will build upon the full return to in-person learning and further support student and staff well-being, learning and engagement.

The move to the semester model will not impact the courses that students have scheduled, nor will it change the start or end of the school day. Below is the daily schedule we will follow:
