Hey, Flames during the month of May, The STA Healthy Schools Committee is running a campaign of Tips for Success.  This week the Campaign topic is social media and Healthy Relationships.

So here are 2 tips today to boost safety, security and privacy online:

TIP # 1 is Remember to be aware of the privacy settings you use on your apps and devices. Consider why you keep certain information private or limited to a small group. What information do you feel comfortable sharing and why.

TIP # 2 is Find the privacy policy of your favorite app. Can you tell what information the company collects and what they do with it? Are they selling it? Storing it? Keeping it safe?

STA's Prism Club will be hosting a talent showcase in June! If you have a talent, stay tuned for more details coming soon! Anyone will be welcome to audition but your acts must somehow express the themes of inclusivity and joy, so start brainstorming! We can't wait to see what you come up with!

The varsity girls’ soccer team put together yet another statement win yesterday, this time with a 7-0 drubbing of perennial powerhouse MTS. The girls were up 3-0 after just 20 minutes and cruised to victory from there. Goal scorers were Lauren Sullivan, Bella Martins, Viv Del Vasto, Ayda Gonzalez with two, and an own goal from MTS that we will probably give to Lauren Seidel. Rookie Sophia Herrera rounded out the scoring with her first career STA soccer goal!!

Shout-out to Lucie Duffy and Ava Rogers for keeping the clean sheet, and big shout-out to Teagen Parr and Michela Raso for playing multiple positions throughout the game.

The road to Windsor continues Monday. ROLL FLAMES.
